Part 3: The Parent Company

The parent company, Advanced Communications USA, Inc. (ACS), is foremost a computer software and process engineering concern. It enables used bookstores to rely on increasingly technical modern infrastructure without requiring their owners and managers to possess any more than a moderate level of technical skills. We use the term "parent" here in the sense of the stores being "adult offspring", each independently owned and managed and yet utilizing a multitude of outside services by maintaining close relationships with not only ACS but also Amazon, eBay, and others.
